The quality of the work done by Tom Sawyer was outstanding. They had completed a job at my friend's condo building in Cambridge which required the same work we required - tedious carpentry repairs of old wood trim, painting and rebuilding decks/porches. They have us an estimate within a day of their survey, and proceeded with the work a few days later. The guys were neat and courteous, and the workmanship is spectacular. Our 80+ year old house is beautiful again!

Having to double write reviews..... okay the staff at Tom Sawyer Painting through the direction of Mr Bruno efficiently cleaned and painted select interior trim and walls and entire exterior while addressing winter gutter and wood damage. The staff was clean timely and respectful of house rules. Me Bruno patiently worked with us to match colors to other elements. Thank goodness, he is knowledgeable about historical and environmentally conscious preservation. Services include impeccable prepping and exiting . Needless to say I read a passage or two from Mr Twain's classics during the events.

Great company and people! Owner Tom Lindsley quickly gave a reasonable, accurate quote to putty windows and paint and stain my exterior house, decks & shed including Sherman Williams supplies. Raul & his crew did excellent work, even painting the outside doors and house numbers so they pop. Carpentry: Avek railings are sturdy and withstand weather. In 1 small adjacent area, I had to apply plastic wood and leftover deck stain, but in another area the carpenter replaced 2 boards with Avek for free. Overall, excellent work, on time at a low price.

Tom and his crew just painted the exterior of my home. Tom is very professional, yet quite personable, and very easy to deal with. His painting crew was great! The lead person always kept me informed of the status of the job, what was done, what was left to be done, etc., and he and the other two men on the crew did a fantastic job in every respect, from actually painting, to care with my property and clean-up. The price was very reasonable to boot. I highly recommend them, and will definitely use them in the future.

I was SO pleased with this company! Tom responded to my inquiry immediately, gave me a quote, set up an appointment, confirmed the appointment, and his worker showed up ON TIME. He also took off his sneakers before coming into my apartment without my asking him to. He did a great job, and I will definitely call them in the future when I need more work done. They were truly a joy to do business with, and I highly recommend them.
